If they are going to the movies, you should know when you can pick them up and drop them off. The bottom line is, when it comes to being a parent of a teen that is dateing, even a Christian dating teen, you need to be aware that you can’t stop your teenager from getting into trouble, and you can’t dictate what they do when you aren’t around. No matter how strict you are with them, or how careful of tabs you keep on them, you are going to see that eventually they’ll figure out a way to be alone with someone or to do something that you don’t approve of.

Because of this, the best parental rule for teen dating is that you need to be sure that your children are responsible and can make good choices. This means that you have to educate them on what their choices are and why they should think carefully before they do anything they are going to be sorry for later.
